I was able to also become an audio streamer during the pandemic.

me a little more

I'm a digital nomad since I graduated from De La Salle University Dasmarinas back in 2013. I earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Advertising Management.

Since I graduated, I became a freelancer, providing services like photography, content writing, graphic designing and other creative work. I also started an online business and got connected with other direct selling companies that became part of my main source of income.

During pandemic, I got hired as a live streamer on a podcast-like application wherein I gained good knowledge & experience of the streaming industry. After a while, I saw the opportunity and started my own agency in the app where I handled multiple talented individuals coming from different ages.

I was offered to be one of the Philippine Region administrator in one of the applications. I assisted and managed different agency owners (and their members) within the region. I also did most of the graphic designing and community managing.

Along this time, I was given an opportunity to be exposed with the real estate industry focused on maintenance and repair. I got in charged of creating and distributing price lists & invoices, responding to client emails and assisting the manager even with their other businesses. Almost like an executive assistant.

As 2022 ended, I became an entrepreneur on Tiktok, selling handpicked denim items and a few other fashion clothing. This gave me more knowledge and experience when it comes to e-commerce on Tiktok.

Along with my online business, I pursued writing blogs. I got invited in different product & service launching events; one of which I won the writing competition for Food Panda when they were just opening in the Philippines.

Media Manager

Due to daily commute struggle, I decided to get back to freelancing instead. I mostly worked with local clients in within Cavite as their social media manager until COVID-19 struck the world.

When Tiktok Shop is booming, I opened my shop in the app. Up to this date, I’m selling denim clothing. This gave me knowledge with Tiktok Seller Center.

Recently, I had a training with a BPO company for a telco account. I finished the training & passed the training however, I did not continue due to health concerns.

In 2012, I started selling fashion clothing and accessories to family and friends. When I graduated, I decided to focus on my small business where I was able to practice or apply the knowledge and skills I gained from studying Marketing & Advertising Management..

I used my Facebook Page mostly for promotions and for messaging. I used to have a chatbot connected to my page which assists buyers even when I’m not online. However, due to some Meta updates, the chatbots lost access and can no longer be added back to the platform.

I also maximized posting my items on different Facebook Marketplace groups. I even got a chance to manage different buy & sell community. This gave me more experience in handling Facebook group communities.

Unlike other thrift sellers on Tiktok, I made my items available for checkout even if I don’t go live. Doing that gave me knowledge on how to fully navigate and understand the features of the Tiktok Seller Center.

I offered my graphic designing services to official hosts in the app for their room backgrounds, profile picture avatar frames or their room covers especially for events like birthdays, app wedding, singing contests and the like.

This gave the official hosts a chance to brand themselves which eventually helped in capturing attention that brought audience to their rooms and/or events.

This is the official posters, event room covers and the sample room background for the 369 Cuddle Game by Kingbee. This was one of the successful events made in the application.

As part of the Philippine Admin of the app, I was in charge of conceptualizing events for the region & creating the respective posters to be distributed among different agencies & on social media.

Apart from creating events for the Philippine Region, I also assisted other agencies with theirs. I also handled my own agency’s events from conceptualization up to the day itself.

I initiated creating graphics as reminders and/or announcements that they can save on their mobile phones and easily look back to when needed; making it shareable among other members or users of the app as well.

Sophie Martin is a direct selling company originally based in Indonesia & opened a branch here in the Philippines. I applied as a member, became a Junior Sales Associate and eventually became an assistant in one of their business centers in Cavite.

Unfortunately, pandemic hit and their operations closed in the Philippines.
